Woman International Masters Padmini Rout and Kiran Manisha Mohanty (both Orissa) posted wins in the sixth round to take their tally to four points in the Leiden Open International Chess Tournament at Leiden in Holland yesterday.
Asian junior champion Padmini beat Niels Van Splunter (Holland), while Kiran defeated Michaek Kubbenga, also from Holland. The duo now share the third place with 11 others. World sub-junior champion Padmini next meets International Master B Adhiban (India), while Kiran takes on Ivo Wantola (Holland).
