Kolkata Police and Bhubaneswar Unit-3 won the men’s and women’s titles in the 54 th all-India floodlit kabaddi tournament, which concluded at Khanditara in Jajpur district today.
In the finals, Kolkata Police beat SAI, Madhya Pradesh 15-7, while Bhubaneswar Unit-3 defeated Bhubaneswar Unit-9 19-16. Dharmasala MLA Kalpataru Das gave away trophies and cash prizes at the closing function.
Kolkata Police team received Rs 30,000, while Bhubaneswar Unit-3 were given Rs 5,000. The tournament was organised by Jajpur Kabaddi Association.
