Subhranshu Kar caused an upset by defeating third seed Jiten Sarangi 3-1 in a second round match of the 5th Pradeep Sen Memorial All-Orissa Open Snooker Tournament at Cuttack Club, Cuttack today.
But fifth seed Jeet Kishore Das and sixth seed Siddharth Sen registered cake-walk wins to advance to the third round. Three other cueists — Ankit Bhawsinka, Sandipani Mishra and Sonu Mohanty — won the last three first round matches of the day.
