Maa Mangala Club lifted the 23rd Arnapurna Cup Cricket Tournament, defeating their Cuttack city opponents Union Sporting Club by four wickets in the final match at Bolagarh in Nayagarh district yesterday.
Subash Panda and Tara Prasad Mohanty was adjudged man of the match and man of the tournament respectively.
Brief scores: Union Sporting 214/9 in 30 overs (Biswajit Mohapatra 85: Subash Panda 4/38, Gobinda Sahu 3/27) lost to Maa Mangala Club 216/6 in 29.2 overs (Tara Prasad Mohanty 87 n.o, Bijay 73, Subash Panda 42).
