Rising Students and host Biswabharati Cricket Club posted contrasting wins to complete the semifinal line-up of the 1st Apin Memorial Twenty20 Cricket Tournament being played at SCB Medical College ground in Cuttack today.
Young medium pacer Bibhudutta Panda bagged four wickets to help Rising Students crush Sports & Cultural Association of Ashok Nagar (SCAAN) by seven wickets, while Biswabharati rode on off-spinner Sameer Mohanty’s four-wicket haul to edge past Juvenile Club by 12 runs.
In the semifinals, Rising Students meet Rameswar Sporting and Biswabharati take on Saheed Sporting on Saturday.
