Batsmen performed well to help Cuttack-A and Bhubaneswar-A put up healthy totals on the opening day of their two-day semifinal matches against Cuttack-B and Rourkela respectively in the Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Tournament at Cuttack today.
Girija Rout notched a century for Cuttack-A, while Anil Mohapatra missed one for Bhubaneswar-A by 10 runs. Two other batsmen scored a half-century each.
