Jharkhand blanked Karnataka 5-0 in the final to retain the title in the 7th All-India BSNL Hockey Tournament at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar today.
Lalit Kumar Panna struck twice, while Sudhir Banerjee, Manoj Pradhan and Saifran Kulla contributed one goal each in the easy victory.
Host Orissa trounced NTR, Delhi 5-0 to occupy the third position for the fourth time in a row. Santosh Sasmal excelled in the win, scoring four goals, while the tally was completed by Rabibar Ekka.
BSNL Corporate Office Director (HRD) Gopal Das gave away the trophy at the closing function.
