India registered a historic six-wicket victory over England in the first cricket Test, relying on the experienced Sachin Tendulkar`s composed 41st century to overhaul the fourth highest target in Test history at Chennai today.
Chasing a target of 387 for victory, Tendulkar held the innings together with an unbeaten 103 while Yuvraj Singh marked his return to Test cricket with a rollicking unbeaten 85 as the hosts rattled up the required runs to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
