Orissa suffer innings defeat

Ravindra Jadeja bagged five wickets to help hosts Saurashtra humble Orissa by an innings and 84 runs on the fourth and final day of the Ranji Trophy Elite group match at the SCA stadium here today. Orissa, who were following on after being bundled out for 302 yesterday in reply to Saurashtra`s 620 for four declared, were dismissed for 234 in 85.1 overs. Jadeja, who scored an unbeaten 232 in Saurashtra`s first innings and added a record-breaking 520 runs for the fifth wicket with Cheteshwar Pujara (302 not out) was the pick of the bowlers with figures of five for 44. Earlier, Orissa resumed their second innings at their overnight score of four for no loss. Saurashtra secured six points, including a bonus with this win, while Orissa drew blank.
