Orissa Tennis Association (OTA) has effected changes in its panel of office-bearers by creating a post of chairman at its special general body meeting held here earlier this week.
The meeting amended the constitution to make OTA president Priyabrata Patnaik as the first chairman of the game`s apex State body. Association secretary Asit Tripathy succeeded Patnaik as the new president, while Khurda District Tennis Association president Madhusudan Padhi was made the new secretary.
The changes were effected following the resignation of secretary Tripathy, a senior bureaucrat, who was recently taken to the Centre on deputation.
