A 316-member squad of Bhubaneswar Region is all set to leave tomorrow morning for participation in the All-India Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Sports Meet to be held at Hyderabad from October 14 to 18.
The squad includes seven tennis players, who brightened their medal hopes after a week-long preparatory camp at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar.
Tennis squad:
Boys: Kiran Kumar Nayak (Rourkela), Avishek Rath (Bhubaneswar-1), P Suraj Kanan (Ranchi). Escort: S K Nanda (Khurda Road).
Girls: Nikkie Gargi, Avilipsa Rath (both Bhubaneswar-1): Komal Vishakha (Bhubaneswar-2): Aiswarya Ayusmati (Bhubaneswar-3). Escort: S Mohanty (Bhubaneswar-3).
