Defending champion Kunal Agarwal and strong contender Subrat Das set up the senior billiards final of the 14th Visa Steel State Billiards and Snooker Championship at Bhubaneswar Club in BHubaneswar today.
Local favourite Kunal rallied from a frame down to edge past Amit Lath 2-1 in the first semifinal, while Subrat upset last year`s runners-up Ahsan-ul Haque in straight frames on Saturday night.
Meanwhile, four quarterfinalists were identified in junior snooker event as Rakesh Roshan Pradhan, Mohammad Reza, Jenson George and Kunal Agarwal posting wins over their opponents in the first round. S R Mishra beat S P Das in the lone senior snooker match of the day.
