OCA U-19 Cricket: Behera bags 6/43 in Sambalpur-B win

Left-arm orthodox bowler Sidheswar Behera picked up six wickets for 43 runs to enable Sambalpur-B trounce Deogarh by six wickets in their re-scheduled preliminary league match of the OCA U-19 Mens Inter-District Cricket Tournament at Sunshine Ground in Cuttack today.

Another match of the day between Nayagarh and Mayurbhan was abandoned due to wet outfield with Mayurbhanj at 49 for two in reply to 145 all out by Nayagarh.

RESULTS:

7 July 2024 (Match 72, Sunshine Ground): Deogarh 95/10 in 24.4 overs (Sidheswar Behera 6/43, Uttam Singh 2/12) lost to Sambalpur-B 96/4 in 14.3 overs (Aman Pandey 31; Sk M Naqueeb 3/21) by 6 wickets. PoM: Sidheswar Behera.

7 July 2024 (Match 93, Ravenshaw Ground-1): Nayagarh 145/10 in 38.4 overs (Dibyajyoti Pattanaik 68; Chandan Singh 4/17, Md A Raza 2/7) vs Mayurbhanj 49/2 in 13 overs (Match abandoned due to wet outfield).
