Odisha and Jharkhand gathered one point each from their truncated three-day Vijay Merchant Trophy East Zone U-16 cricket match, which ended in a draw at Birsa Munda Cricket Stadium in Chaibasa today. No play was possible after lunch break on the opening day.
Opting to bat, Odisha were reeling at 38 for four when play stopped shortly after lunch on the first day. Odisha made one change for this match, replacing Sai Prasad Patra with Shreyansh Panda. Odisha will next meet Assam at ACA Stadium, Barsapara, Guwahati from October 31 to November 2.
