Priyanka Mahalik stole the show on the second day of the 67th State Athletics Meet as she created New State Record in women’s 20km race-walk event at Barabati Stadium here today. Priyanka clocked one hour 55:32.1 seconds to break the previous record of one hour 58:46.5 seconds.
As many as four new Meet Records were also created in the day. Janaki Kanta Nayak (Boys-14 high jump), Gobinda Pandia (Boys-18 10km race-walk), Nisha Barik (Girls-16 3km race-walk) and Sabita Toppo (Girls-16 100m hurdles) achieved these records.
