Odisha achieved a creditable double, winning both the Cup and Plate in the Callaghan Cup All India National Division-2 Rugby XVs Championship, which was organised by Chandigarh Rugby Football Association at Punjab University, Chandigarh from 3 to 8 September, 2019.
Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) men clinched the double when they were crowned Cup champions, defeating Delhi Rebels 13-8 in the final today. Led by international Muna Murmu, KISS qualified for the final, defeating Bhubaneswar Rugby Football Club 20-5 and Haryana Warriors 45-0.
