BHUBANESWAR 06-Oct-2018
India rode on a century by Odisha allrounder Pankaj Bhue to beat England by 198 runs and register their second straight win in the Triangular T20 Cricket Series for Blind at SSE Ground in Bengaluru today. They had won the opening match against Sri Lanka yesterday.
Put into bat by England captain Ed Hossell, India make a healthy total of 240 for three in the stipulate overs. Bhue slammed 101 and Anil Ghargiya supported him well but fell just short of his hundred.
Chasing the huge target, England were never in the hunt as the Indian bowlers had their strangle hold and bowled out the visitors for 42. The international bilateral and triangular series organized by Cricket Association for the Blind in India and Samarthanam now moves on to Goa and the next match will be played between England and Sri Lanka on October 8.
