Mixed luck for Odisha teams in Junior NBC

Odisha boys and girls teams experienced mixed luck in Level-2 league of the 68TH Junior National Basketball Championship, which is being held at Shiv Nadar University in Gautam Budh Nagar District, Noida, Uttar Pradesh from June 4, 2017.

Odisha boys, in fact, posted back-to-back wins in Group-F, defeating Purucherry 85-63 and Goa 90-72, but suffered defeat in their third match against Andhra Pradesh. However, the boys returned to winning ways by defeating West Bengal in loser knock-out quarterfinal match. Odisha girls won their opening Group-D match against Chandigarh 70-46, but lost the second against Uttar Pradesh.
