An indoor stadium was inaugurated by District Collector Bhaskarjyoti Sharma at the Circuit House in Rayagada (Orissa) today. Built at a cost of Rs 27 lakhs, the stadium has facilities for badminton, table tennis and other indoor games. Construction work was undertaken on a grant of Rs 22 lakhs by Giridhar Gomango from his MPLAD Fund and Rs 5 lakh by Rayagada legislator Ramachandra Ulaka. The opening ceremony was attended by Easwar Chandra Barda, ITDA Project Admininstrator Easwar Chandra Barda and JE Hadi Bandhu Chowdary.
