Jagadish Kumar Ghadai of DAV Public School, Kalinga Nagar, emerged champion in the State Schools Open Chess Tournament, garnering four points out of a possible five at Krupasindhu Bidya Bhavan, Bari, Jajpur today.
Sumit Ojha (DAV Public School, Pokhariput, BBSR) and Amrutanshu Mohapatra (DAV Public School, Unit-8) finished second and third respectively. The one-day tournament was organised by Orissa State Chess Association.
