Mohammad Waras and Mohammad Samiruddin of Danogahir (Pipili) won the title and a cash prize of Rs 10,000 in the 3rd State Level Carrom Tournament, which was organised by the Carrom Association, Begunia at Jadupur here yesterday.
Babu Behera and Bulu Behera of Sorana received cash prize of Rs 6,000 as first runners-up, while the second runners-up prize of Rs 3,000 was claimed by Sagara Behera and Chandan Behera of Sorana.
As many as 32 pair of players from different places of Odisha participated in the day-long tournament, which was inaugurated by local corporater Muzahid Hussain. Carrom Association, Begunia president Seikh Alim gave away the prizes in the closing function.
