Kalinga Basketball Club (KBC) won all five of their league matches to emerge champions in the 1st Limka Memorial Basketball Tournament, which concluded here at Unit-I court today. IMFA Basketball Club finished runners-up with three wins. Tanmay Behera of KBC bagged the award as player of the tournament.
Bhubaneswar Basketball Association organised the three-day tournament in the memory of former Odisha senior basketball player Syed Waqar Yunus (Limka), who passed away last year. Other teams in the fray included Mother`s Basketball Club, Shining Star Basketball Club, 120 Infantry Battalion and KIIT University.
