State Sports & Youth Services Department has released Rs 1 crore to enable Infrastructure Development Corporation of Orissa (IDCO) float tender for laying of one full size and one half-size synthetic turfs at the Kalinga Stadium hockey grounds in Bhubaneswar.
This was announced by Sports Minister Badri Narayan Patra today. ``The work will be completed by March, 2012,`` he said. According to official sources, the State Government has received Rs 5 crores for the purpose from the Government of India, under Urban Sports Infrastructure Scheme.
