Manas Singh claims OSCA Open chess title

Manas Singh of Bhubaneswar claimed the title in the OSCA State Open Chess Championship, securing seven points from eight rounds at Secretariat Recreation Club here today. He edged out Aditya Pattnaik of Cuttack and Sahadeb Khatei of Bhubaneswar in the tie-breaker. Andhra Pradesh Income Tax Chief Commissioner Jayanta Kumar Hota gave away the prizes in the presence of host Orissa State Chess Association (OSCA) vice-president Arati Bijoy Mohanty, secretary Smruti Ranjan Das, Secretariat Recreation Club secretary Managovinda Dalei and tournament director Debasis Panigrahi.
