Orissa lifter Pramila Kirsani won three silver medals in women`s 53 kg weight category of the 13th Asian Youth Weightlifting Championships at Pattaya (Thailand) today. She lifted 68 kg in snatch, 89 kg in clean & jerk and 157 kg in total.
Thailand lifter Naruephon Saenchek won all three gold medals in the same category. Both Saenchek and Kirsani lifted overall total of 157 kg but the overall medal place was decided on the basis of body weight. Saenchek had a body-weight of 50.80 kg as compared to Kirsani`s 52.55kg.
