Orissa duo Rakesh Kumar Jena and Rutumbara Bidhar finished runners-up in the boys and girls categories of the 24th National Under-9 Chess Championship, which concluded at Ahmedabad on today.
In the 11-round championship, Jena finished secured 9.5 points, while West Bengal`s Mitrabha Guha emerged champion with 10 points. In the girls category, Bidhar ended her campaign with 9.5 points, while Tarini Goyal (Chhattishgarh) clinched the title with 10 points.
