Seven from Orissa for u-19 girls National football camp

As many as 44 players, including seven from Orissa, have been selected by All India Football Federation to join the National under-19 coaching camp to be held at SAI Centre, Lucknow from August 1 to September 17. The purpose of the camp is to prepare the National team for the AFC Under-19 Women’s Qualification Tournament, which is scheduled to be held in Dhaka (Bangladesh) from September 20 to 24.

Orissa players include Sita Sharma, Rashmita Patra, Jabamani Soren, Deogi Murmu, Swarnamayee Samal, Gomati Bara and Lochana Munda. Among the rest, 13 belong to Manipur, four are from Sikkim, three each from West Bengal, Goa and Jahrkhand, two each from Haryana, Mizoram and Tripura and one each from Bihar, Kerala, UP, Assam and Puducherry. Shukla Dutta, Anita Sarkar and Kruti Marolia have been named as the coach, assistant coach and physio respectively.
