Host Orissa bagged the first gold medal of the National Kickboxing Championship when Susanket Mishra emerged winner in the aero kickboxing event at KIIT University campus in Bhubaneswar today. Orissa made it a one-two with Amitanshu Panda taking the silver behind Mishra. The bronze medals of the event went to Maharashtra’s Ajit Sindhe.
Organised by All Orissa Kickboxing Association, the four-day championship was earlier inaugurated by hockey Olympian Dilip Tirkey and State Higher Education Minister Devi Mishra.
