India back in Davis Cup World Group

Somdev Devvarman pulled off an incredible victory over Rik de Voest in the Davis Cup World Group play-off. Coming back from a two set deficit Somdev helped India to beat South Africa and make the World Group after 11 years. "After I took the third set, I knew it was going to be a very tough but I had full confidence in my abilities and fitness. I`m happy with the way I came through. It`s definitely a great feeling," he said. The young Indian thanked his team-mates, who supported for him right through the match. “They never lost hope on me and they just carried me through this match”. As the fifth rubber became inconsequential, Misra handed Yuki Bhambri his debut in the Davis Cup. He was all praise for the 17-year-old teen, who is world number one junior player.
