Bhubaneswar boy Rakesh Kumar Nayak pocketed the title with full eight points in the All-Orissa Open Rapid Chess Tournament, which concluded at Berhampur today. Rabindra Kumar Ojha (7 points) of Cuttack and Jagdish P Shukla (6 points) of Berhampur finished second and third respectively. The two-day tournament was organised by Ganjam District Chess Association with the support of Andhra Bigyan Mitra Mandali. The presence of officials of the ad-hoc body of the State chess association made it clear that the tournament was an officially recognised event.
