Orisports.com, the only active sports website of Orissa, continued to set new record, registering more than one lakh visitors from all over the world for second successive month.
An encyclopedia of Orissa sports, orisports.com logged 1,13,962 visitors for the month, June, 2009, a gain of 8,582 compared to 1,05,380 registered in May, 2009.
In June, 2009, the site added over 100 news items, 200 photos, 50 profiles, 20 sports bodies, 30 schedules and two awards. Design-wise, the portal also improved a lot.
The website achieved another important success as different media organizations used news and photos freely available in orisports.com .
