Orissa Hockey Association (OHA) crushed Vikram Pilley Hockey Academy 3-0 in the final to win the All-India Invitation Hockey Tournament at Pune today.
The OHA side took an early lead when Dhyanchand Munda scored the first minute. Amardeep Ekka increased the lead with another field goal in the 28th minute. Drag-flicker Amit Rohidas converted a penalty corner in the 40th minute to clinch the convincing victory.
The triumphant Orissa team received the top prize of Rs 22,222. OHA were given an addition cash prize of Rs 2,222 as the most discipline team.
