Powerlifting ace Ranu Mohanty left Bhubaneswar today to defend her gold medal in the Asian championship to be held at Kaoshiung City in Taiwan from May 1 to 6. Officials of Orissa Powerlifting Association wished her good luck at the railway station. Ranu is set to leave via Mumbai to defend the gold she had won in the 67.5 kg weight class of the last Asian championship in South Korea.
