Four youngsters were felicitated in Bhubaneswar today for helping Orissa win a gold and a bronze medal in the 3rd Sub-junior National Soft Tennis Championship held at Ahmedabad earlier this week.
According to Orissa Soft Tennis Association secretary Mohammad Azam, Arun Kumar Harichandan and Dibakar Gauda secured the gold, beating their Tamil Nadu opponents 3-0 in boys’ doubles final.
The bronze medal was claimed by the mixed doubles pair of Harichandan and Rupalin Das, who lost to opponents from Gujarat in the semifinals.
