Yuvi, Viru hit tons: India clinch ODI series

By compiling 363, Indias set the record of highest total on Sri Lankan soil, eclipsing the previous best of 307 for 6 in 1998 at the same venue. Murali equals Akram’s record: Spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan equalled Pakistani tearaway Wasim Akram’s world record of 502 one-day wickets at the R Premadasa stadium here. The 36-year-old offie achieved the feat in 327 matches while Akram had managed the feat in 356 ties.
