Signal Corps, Goa defeated Netaji Sporting (Chennai) 1-0 to advance to the semifinals of the 9th All-India Knock-out Football Tournament here at the Sersa ground, Bondamunda in Rourkela today.
After the first half ended 0-0, Nalman Mike produced the all-important goal in the 47th minutes off a penalty kick, which came when Netaji Sporting custodian Suresh Kumar committed a foul on the opposition forwar Mike.
